  • What do I need to do to start meeting with you ?
    Call 310-361-6686 or email me at We’ll set up a time to chat over the phone for 15 minutes to go over any questions you have and to determine if we are a good fit. Our first appointment will be an intake where we’ll spend the session talking about present problems and history.
  • What is the session fee?
    My standard fee is $150 - $200 for a 50-60 minute session. I understand that therapy is both an emotional and a financial investment and that often-financial limitations can inhibit one from seeking therapy. Because of this I offer multiple options such as I take insurance or if you are out of network I can give you a superbill at the end of each month.
  • How do I determine if we will work well together?
    I firmly believe that finding a good fit for a therapist is an essential component of the therapeutic journey and it's outcome. Please contact me (phone/email) about setting up an initial consultation to determine whether you feel like I would be a good fit for you.
  • What is therapy?
    Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a therapist. A therapist provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who is objective, neutral and nonjudgmental. In providing nurturance and structure, I hope to give my clients the space they need to feel fully seen and heard, as well as the direction, guidance, and accountability to make the changes they are seeking.Therapy with me will help you: deepen your self-awareness, put yourself first and rest without the stress that you"should" be doing more, feel secure in your decision-making skills, and release old habits that you've developed over time that no longer serve you. In therapy, you will learn practical concepts and skills that will transform how you relate to your thoughts, emotions, and yourself, so you can start living a more fulfilling life.
  • How long is a session ?
    A typical therapy session is between 50-60 minutes long. It is standard to meet weekly, particularly at the onset of therapy. However, some clients desire to meet more or less frequently. We can discuss a schedule that will work best for you.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Sessions must be cancelled within 24 hours or else 50 % of my fee will be charged. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time. If submitting superbills or paying with insurance, your insurance company will not pay for missed or cancelled sessions.
  • How many sessions will I need?
    Therapy is a unique and personal journey. The number of sessions is determined by your individual needs and goals for therapy. Some concerns can be addressed in a few sessions and others over the course of multiple years.
